Why The Journal Is Going Private

My Trading Desk

Hey,

This is the last article going up on MyTradingDesk.

I started writing here back in November twelfth, 2025. A public trading journal — real sessions, real mistakes, real lessons. No filters. No polish. Just what actually happened at the desk.

Over time the journal became something I did not expect. It stopped being about trades and started being about how I operated. The interference. The drawdowns. The crashes. The days I waited and did nothing. The days the plan held and the days it did not. The notes got shorter because the drama got smaller. Eventually the journal stopped being a therapist and became a log — just recording what happened without needing to process it.

That was the point all along. And it worked.

So why stop now?

Because the system has reached a place where the public record has done its job. The journal proves what I wanted to prove. But the system itself — the actual rules, the mechanical details, the stuff that makes the edge work — that needs to stay private. If I kept publishing every session, I would eventually give away more than I mean to. Not hiding anything. Just protecting what the journal helped me build.

The trading is not stopping. The journal is not stopping. I am still recording every session, every result, every rule check. The only thing changing is that those records are staying private.

The full archive is staying live. Over 100 entries. Anyone can read it, start to finish, and see the whole thing play out. The calculators. The scoreboard. The rules page. The quotes. The books. The toolkit. Bot development. All of it stays. Only the daily publishing stops.

If you have been reading since the start — thank you. If you just found this — the archive is there. Start at the beginning and work through. It is all there.

Bharat.
